
The Miiraku area is located in the northwestern part of Fukue Island.




The town consists of the entire Miiraku Peninsula, located in the northwest of Fukue Island, and Saga Island, which floats in the sea to the west.
It is a place of great historical and cultural significance, and as far back as the Manyo period, it was the last port of call in Japan for Japanese envoys to the Tang Dynasty, and was a transit point for exchange with Chinese culture.
