
The Miiraku area is located in the northwestern part of Fukue Island.




The town consists of the entire Miiraku Peninsula, located in the northwest of Fukue Island, and Saga Island, which floats in the sea to the west.
It is a place of great historical and cultural significance, and as far back as the Manyo period, it was the last port of call in Japan for Japanese envoys to the Tang Dynasty, and was a transit point for exchange with Chinese culture.

崎山(さきやま)地区は、長崎県五島市の南東部に位置するエリアです。入り江が多く、波が穏やかで透明度の高い海が広がるため、漁業が盛んな地域となっています。海岸線沿いには断崖や岬が点在し、自然が生み出す雄大な景観を楽しむことができます。
